The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Private Equity Associate (6 months - 1 year PQE) to join this Top 10 US firm in their City of London office.

The London PE team is a juggernaut and excels in the high value deals space. They are ranked as the leading law firm for private equity by Chambers Global, US and UK and the practice is top tier for leveraged buyouts and PE.

The Private Equity team require a mid-level associate with UK market experience that can immerse themselves in working alongside a pioneering team focusing on high-value cross-border private equity transactions.

The Work

Joining the Private Equity team, you'll be focusing your time on working with portfolio companies owned by Private Equity sponsors primarily in the UK, US and Europe.

The team are looking for one individual with 5-6 years' relevant post qualification experience in a corporate team, preferably in the London market or experience in a similar common law jurisdiction (although those with less or more relevant experience will be considered on their merits).

Preferably, experience will have been gained in a private equity practice group.
To be successful in this role, you will have solid knowledge of Private Equity and be looking for an opportunity to move into a less transaction focused role within the private equity team.

In this role you will report directly in to a partner in the team, be keen to have more responsibility for your own clients, and be excited to manage the team's portfolio company relationships to ensure that the service they receive is top standard.

You will work alongside other attorneys of similar PQE, who will be available to further explain the role as part of the interview process.
